The Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has made history among all Indian Major Ports by achieving the highest single-day cargo handling record on February 4, 2024. A remarkable total of 79 rakes were handled, comprising 28 outbound and 51 inward rake unloading operations. This achievement surpasses the previous record of 75 rakes, set on February 18, 2023.
PPA Chairman PL Haranadh extended his heartfelt congratulations to Team PPA for this extraordinary feat. He expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders whose contributions were instrumental in reaching this incredible milestone.
