BHUBANESWAR, APRIL 10, 2024 (TBB BUREAU): Continuing its excellent march as the most preferred digital service provider, Reliance Jio crossed 1.5 crore mobile subscribers mark in Odisha, as per the latest telecom subscriber data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). As per the data, Jio added over 87,000 new mobile subscribers taking its total number mobile subscribers on Jio network in Odisha to over 1.5 crore, as on February 29, 2024. Jio added the highest number of new mobile subscribers in Odisha, in the month of February.
Nationally, Jio also added the highest 36 lakh subscribers in February, taking the total number of mobile subscribers on Jio network to over 46.75 crore, cornering over 40 per cent mobile subscriber market share in the industry.
Reliance Jio has been the No. 1 and most preferred digital service provider in Odisha with nearly 45 per cent subscriber market share and 52 per cent revenue market share in the industry.
