BHUBANESWAR/ANGUL, JULY 27, 2024 (TBB BUREAU):
Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Satish Chandra Dubey, visited the National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) Corporate Office in Bhubaneswar and its Angul plant on Saturday.
Upon arrival, Minister Dubey received a warm welcome from NALCO Chairman & Managing Director Sridhar Patra and all the company’s Directors.
During his visit, the Minister participated in the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign by planting a sapling and chaired a review meeting with senior officials to discuss the company’s ongoing projects.
Accompanied by CMD Sridhar Patra, Minister Dubey also toured NALCO’s Smelter and Power plant in Angul, where he engaged in discussions about production and operational activities. He expressed satisfaction with NALCO’s performance and commended the collective efforts of the NALCO team, recognizing their significant achievements in production.
