SAMBALPUR, JULY 30, 2024 (TBB BUREAU): Aditya Aluminium successfully organized a comprehensive health camp at the Bomaloi Sevashram School in the Rengali Block of Sambalpur district. The event, held on Tuesday, was a collaborative effort involving the Vision Centre and the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) Epidemiologist from the Chief District Medical Officer’s (CDMO) office.
The inauguration of the camp was marked by the presence of notable figures including Stephen Airokroz, Head of IR; Sweta Upadhyay from CSR & RR; Peeyush Rajguru and Snehalata Nayak from the Admin Department of Aditya Aluminium; and former Sarapanch Sesadev Pradhan. Their participation underscored the importance of community health initiatives and support from various sectors.
The health camp was a significant success, benefiting a total of 189 patients. Attendees received free medical check-ups and medication. Among the highlights of the camp was the provision of eye care services. Forty patients underwent eye examinations, and six individuals were identified as needing cataract surgery, for which further arrangements will be made.
In addition to eye care, the camp focused on blood health, collecting 100 blood samples for hepatitis testing to ensure early detection and management of potential health issues.
The event also saw the active involvement of five employee associates from Aditya Aluminium, who volunteered their time and efforts to support the camp’s activities. Their contributions played a crucial role in the smooth execution of the program.
