Chennai, August 2, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Eurogrip Tyres, a leading name in the global tyre industry, has made a notable presence at the Latin Tyre & Auto Parts Expo held at the Panama Convention Centre.
The exhibition, which began on July 31 and runs until August 3, has provided Eurogrip Tyres with a platform to exhibit their advanced products at booth number 237.
The expo features an impressive array of products from Eurogrip Tyres, including off-road tyres designed for construction machinery, tractors, tillers, balers, and other agricultural equipment. The company also showcased its extensive range of 2-wheeler tyres tailored for adventure touring, as well as high-performance steel-belted radials for superbikes and tubeless tyres for high-performance 2-wheelers. This apart, Eurogrip presented its 3-wheeler tyres, including popular patterns such as Climber, Bee Connect, Roadhound, Trailhound STR, Terrabite, Badshah, Beamer VS, Jumbo TL, and Jaya LX. The Off-Highway Tyre segment saw the introduction of various models catering to industrial and agricultural needs.
A highlight of Eurogrip’s participation was the launch of two new off-highway tyre patterns: the BL 54 L-4 and the TR 72 R-2. The BL 54 L-4 is specifically designed for heavy-duty construction applications, featuring a deep tread pattern ideal for abrasive surfaces. This new tyre, available in the popular 19.5L-24 size, is the first L-4 construction tyre with rim sizes of 18 inches and above. Eurogrip plans to introduce six additional sizes of the BL 54 in the first quarter of 2025.
The TR 72 R-2, the second new pattern unveiled, is a deep lug tractor tyre engineered for extremely wet conditions, such as those found in paddy and sugarcane cultivation. Its deep R-2 treads provide superior traction in slushy environments, while the optimally angled and spaced lugs ensure excellent self-cleaning and consistent traction with minimal slippage.
