Bhubaneswar, August 15, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Navratna CPSE National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on Thursday.
Company’s Chairman & Managing Director Sridhar Patra hoisted the national flag at NALCO’s headquarters in Bhubaneswar and addressed the NALCO community.
During the event, Patra also inaugurated a Facilitation Centre-cum-Lounge for former employees at NALCO Bhawan. A large number of former employees attended the celebration and had the opportunity to interact with senior NALCO officials. The festivities included a captivating Dhemsa dance performance by an award-winning troupe from Kotpad, Koraput.
In addition to the main event in Bhubaneswar, the 78th Independence Day was also observed at NALCO’s operating units in Angul and Damanjodi, as well as at its Port Facility in Vizag and Regional Offices across the country.
