Bongaigaon, September 14, 2024 (TBB Bureau): NTPC Bongaigaon marked Hindi Diwas with a vibrant and meaningful celebration on Saturday, highlighting the importance of the Hindi language in both personal and professional spheres. The event was inaugurated by Debabrata Kar, General Manager (O&M), who began the proceedings by administering an oath to the employees, encouraging them to embrace and use Hindi more actively in their daily interactions.
The celebration saw messages from the Chairman & Managing Director, Regional Executive Director (Eastern Region II), and the Project Head, Bongaigaon, underscoring the significance of Hindi in the corporate and governmental context. These messages were prominently displayed, reinforcing the theme of the day.
Following the inauguration, employees of NTPC Bongaigaon delivered insightful short presentations on Rajbhasha Hindi, reflecting on its impact and relevance. Onkar Nath, Additional General Manager (HR), emphasized the constitutional status of Hindi and its critical role in government operations, advocating for its increased usage in official settings.
General Manager (O&M) Debabrata Kar further stressed the widespread presence of Hindi and appealed to the employees to incorporate it more extensively into their daily routines and professional environment.
The function also saw participation from Ashutosh Biswas, General Manager (Operations), and other heads of departments, who engaged in discussions about the role of Hindi in fostering better communication and unity.
