Rajasthan, October 8, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd., India’s fifth-largest cement manufacturer, has emerged as the preferred bidder for three crucial limestone blocks—NB-01, NB-02, and NB-03—located in Nimbol, Tehsil Jaitaran, District Beawar, Rajasthan. These blocks, spanning 41.37 hectares and containing an estimated 28.43 million tons of limestone, were won during the recently concluded auctions conducted by the Government of Rajasthan through the MSTC e-auction platform.
The limestone deposits are strategically positioned near Nuvoco’s cement manufacturing facility in Nimbol, offering a key advantage in terms of logistics and operational efficiency. Securing these blocks at highly competitive rates, Nuvoco has reinforced its ability to maintain long-term production sustainability while enhancing its cost efficiency compared to other industry players.
Commenting on the achievement, Jayakumar Krishnaswamy, Managing Director, Nuvoco Vistas Corp.
