Dalmia School Meet 2024 concludes with grand success

Bhubaneswar, October 15, 2024 (TBB Bureau): The prestigious Dalmia School Meet 2024, a vibrant and competitive gathering of over 300 students from seven Dalmia schools across India, successfully concluded at Dalmiapuram, Tamil Nadu. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing schools in Rajasthan, Odisha, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Meghalaya, and Andhra Pradesh, showcasing a perfect blend of athletic prowess and cultural creativity.

The occasion was graced by Vinayak Murti, Executive Director of Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited (DCBL) and Unit Head of Dalmiapuram, who served as the Chief Guest. His presence added prestige to the event, inspiring the students to strive for excellence.

The three-day event provided a dynamic platform for students to exhibit their talent across a spectrum of activities, from athletic competitions to cultural performances. The energy and enthusiasm were palpable as students participated in various events with great passion and sportsmanship, reflecting the holistic education approach championed by the Dalmia Vidya Mandir (DVM) schools.

This year’s meet saw the introduction of four prestigious trophies, recognizing outstanding performances in various categories. The Host School Trophy was awarded to DVM Dalmiapuram, acknowledging their exceptional hospitality and participation. DVM Chirawa emerged victorious, clinching the Overall Senior School Trophy, while DVM Rajgangpur made a clean sweep by winning the Overall Junior School Championship 2024 and the Academic Excellence Championship 2024. With these accolades, DVM Rajgangpur solidified its position as the top-performing school of the meet.

During the closing ceremony, Rosetta Williams, CEO of Dalmia Vidya Mandir Schools, and Jaydeb Kar, Principal of DVM Rajgangpur, extended heartfelt congratulations to all participants. They commended the students for their dedication and urged them to continue excelling in education, sports, and cultural pursuits, emphasizing that such events foster a spirit of healthy competition and holistic development.

Notably, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited operates seven Dalmia Vidya Mandir schools across the country, with the head office situated in New Delhi.
