TPCODL observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2024, reinforces commitment to integrity

Bhubaneswar, 28 October 2024 (TBB Bureau): TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has commenced Vigilance Awareness Week 2024, running from October 28 to November 3, under the theme, “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity.”

The week-long observance began with a solemn Integrity Pledge administered by Mr. Arvind Singh, CEO of TPCODL, to the Senior Leadership Team at the Corporate Office. Messages from the Hon’ble President of India, Prime Minister of India, and Chief Minister of Odisha were read aloud, underscoring the nation’s collective commitment to integrity. Employees across TPCODL locations participated by taking the Integrity Pledge, guided by their respective Heads and Managers.

Throughout the week, TPCODL’s Vigilance Department will conduct extensive outreach programs to raise awareness against corruption. Initiatives include Gram Sabhas, lectures, debates, and competitions held in schools and colleges across the region. Additionally, banners and posters promoting anti-corruption values are displayed across TPCODL offices, encouraging all stakeholders to stand united in fostering a culture of transparency.

Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Singh reiterated TPCODL’s dedication to ethical practices, stating, “I urge all employees to embody the values of honesty and probity in both their personal and professional lives. I call upon the Senior Leadership to take on the sacred responsibility of guiding our younger employees in this endeavour.
