This initiative, announced on the occasion of Children’s Day, marks a significant milestone in empowering educators and enhancing classroom learning across the nation.
Khanmigo is an innovative AI teaching assistant and student tutor, now available in both English and Hindi, designed to streamline lesson planning, personalize student engagement, and simplify classroom tasks. Teachers in India can access Khanmigo at no cost by creating a teacher account on the Khan Academy platform.

With the backing of Microsoft, this global rollout underscores Khan Academy’s commitment to leveraging technology to democratize education. Already utilized by educators in over 40 countries, Khanmigo is designed to foster digital literacy, critical thinking, and responsible AI use among both teachers and students.
