Lanjigarh, November 19, 2024 (TBB Bureau): In a heartwarming celebration of Children’s Day, Vedanta Lanjigarh, a unit of Vedanta Aluminium and India’s leading producer of smelter-grade alumina, brought smiles to over 100 children from local communities in Kalahandi district. The event, organized at DAV Vedanta International School, was filled with fun, inspiration, and learning, aligning with this year’s theme, ‘For every child, every right.’
The celebration honored the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, and featured an engaging lineup of activities, including motivational sessions, cultural performances, exciting games, and a vibrant book festival. The presence of senior government dignitaries further added significance to the day.
