Paradip Port Authority celebrates Constitution Day, reaffirms commitment to democratic values

Paradip, November 26, 2024 (TBB Bureau): The Paradip Port Authority (PPA) celebrated Constitution Day with great enthusiasm, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution. The event, held at the PPA premises on Tuesday, witnessed active participation by senior officials and staff.

PPA Chairman, P. L. Haranadh, led the celebrations by reading out the Preamble of the Constitution. The ceremony was graced by the presence of PPA Deputy Chairman Nilabhra Dasgupta, along with other dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Haranadh emphasized the significance of the Indian Constitution, describing it as a timeless testament to the vision and wisdom of India’s founding fathers.

“The Constitution of India serves as the cornerstone of our democracy. It safeguards the fundamental rights and duties of every citizen while promoting justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. As a key pillar of national progress, PPA remains dedicated to upholding these values and contributing to a strong and vibrant democracy,” said the PPA Chairman.
