Motorola launches open beta program for advanced Moto AI features on Razr 50 series and Edge 50 Ultra

New Delhi, November 28, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Motorola is taking a giant leap forward in enhancing the smartphone experience with the introduction of its first-ever open beta program, designed for the Razr 50 series and Edge 50 Ultra. Users can now explore a new world of advanced Moto AI features aimed at simplifying daily interactions, boosting productivity, and personalizing smartphone use.

AI has long been part of Motorola’s strategy to improve user experiences — from optimizing battery life to enhancing display performance and photography. But the company is now embracing the transformative potential of generative AI, offering richer, more personalized interactions across its devices. This shift will make it easier than ever for users to recall key details, stay focused, and document important moments with unprecedented ease.

The Moto AI suite introduces several innovative features, including the Catch Me Up, Pay Attention, and Remember This prompts, designed to help users manage notifications, meetings, and memories in a smarter way. Whether it’s summarizing missed messages, capturing key meeting notes without the need for notetaking, or preserving meaningful details from photos and screenshots, Moto AI ensures that essential information is always just a prompt away.

Motorola’s Moto AI brings a suite of powerful features designed to make everyday smartphone use more intuitive and efficient. Catch Me Up ensures users are never left behind by providing tailored summaries of missed notifications, keeping them updated without the need to sift through every message. Pay Attention is a game-changer for meetings, helping users stay focused by automatically capturing, transcribing, and summarizing key points, so important details are always easy to reference later. Meanwhile, Remember This acts as an intelligent assistant, saving and recalling important moments from photos, screenshots, or other media, and enriching them with contextual information and insights, all securely stored in the device’s Journal. These features are part of Motorola’s broader push to integrate AI into everyday interactions, offering users smarter, more personalized experiences on their devices.

Additionally, Motorola has redesigned the app tray for quicker access to critical features. The new tabs — Apps, News, and Journal — are displayed at the top, allowing users to find everything they need in one convenient spot. With the addition of a floating prompt, users can easily access Moto AI, perform natural language searches, and get immediate assistance through voice or text.

Speaking about the program, TM Narasimhan, Managing Director of Motorola India, said, “Innovation and customer-centricity are at the core of everything we do. The Moto AI Beta program will empower users to experience and shape the future of AI on our flagship devices, ensuring enhanced personalization and smarter functionality. We are confident that these AI-driven solutions will redefine the smartphone experience and drive consumer delight.”

The open beta program for the Razr 50 series and Edge 50 Ultra is available starting November 27 via the Google Play Store. Interested users can register to participate through notifications or visit Motorola’s website for more details.
