Dhamra Port sets new record in steel coil loading

Dhamra, November 30, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Dhamra Port Company Limited (DPCL) has set a new benchmark in its operations by achieving a record-breaking milestone in steel coil loading. Over the past 24 hours, the port successfully loaded an impressive 20,586 MT of HR Coils onto BB-3, surpassing all previous records.

This feat eclipses the port’s earlier milestones of 17,316 MT loaded on MV IDC Pearl on October 18, 2020, and 19,100 MT on MV ENY on November 28, 2021.

DPCL credited this exceptional accomplishment to the seamless coordination, meticulous planning, and unwavering dedication of its team. “This achievement reflects the exemplary teamwork and commitment of our staff, who have consistently strived for operational excellence. Their precision and hard work have elevated our performance to new heights,” DPCL said in a press communiqué.

The record underscores Dhamra Port’s growing prominence as a hub for efficient cargo handling and its ability to meet and exceed industry standards. It also reinforces the port’s pivotal role in facilitating robust industrial and economic growth in the region.
