Bhubaneswar, December 8, 2024 (TBB Bureau):  In a significant move to highlight India’s cultural unity on the global stage, Uttar Pradesh Minister of Labour and Employment, Anil Rajbhar, led an extravagant roadshow in Bhubaneswar on Sunday, promoting the upcoming Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025. The event is part of a nationwide campaign by the Uttar Pradesh government aimed at attracting citizens, political leaders, and international visitors to the historic spiritual gathering scheduled from January 13 to February 26, 2025.

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Rajbhar stressed the Mahakumbh’s role as a monumental celebration of India’s rich diversity and unwavering unity. During the roadshow, the Minister extended an official invitation to Odisha’s Governor Raghubar Das, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and the people of Odisha to witness the grandeur of the Mahakumbh, which will take place on the sacred banks of the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers in Prayagraj.

“The Mahakumbh is more than just a religious event; it embodies the essence of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat, Samaveshi Bharat’ – One India, Great India, Inclusive India,” Rajbhar emphasized. “The 2025 Mahakumbh promises to be an even grander spectacle than the 2019 event, with over 450 million pilgrims and tourists expected to attend,” he added.

The Minister outlined the extensive preparations being undertaken by the Uttar Pradesh government, which include state-of-the-art infrastructure, cutting-edge technology, enhanced healthcare services, and robust environmental measures. The government has launched an official website and mobile app, complete with AI-powered chatbots, multilingual support, and digital systems for crowd management, ration supply, and cleanliness monitoring.

A key focus of the preparations is the environmental sustainability of the event. Rajbhar highlighted the plastic-free pledge for the Mahakumbh and the extensive tree plantation efforts already in progress, with over 300,000 plants cultivated in Prayagraj. Health services are being bolstered with the establishment of dedicated hospitals, medical teams, and emergency services to cater to the pilgrims and visitors.

In addition to infrastructure, transportation plans are well underway, with 101 smart parking facilities capable of accommodating up to five lakh vehicles daily. The expanded parking area, now covering 1,867 hectares, will be one of the largest in India. Moreover, 35 permanent ghats and 9 new ones are being constructed to facilitate the sacred bathing rituals. The newly developed riverfront will span an impressive 15.25 kilometres along the Ganges, further enhancing the event’s grandeur, along with aerial flower showers to create a mesmerizing atmosphere.

Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies, Satish Chandra Sharma, also expressed his enthusiasm, calling the Mahakumbh a beacon of India’s unity in diversity. He extended a warm invitation to states and nations to join in this sacred pilgrimage, which, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is set to become an unparalleled global event showcasing India’s spiritual and cultural heritage.

With these meticulous preparations and a promise of unmatched hospitality, the Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025 is set to leave a lasting impact on the world, uniting millions of people from all walks of life in celebration of India’s timeless spiritual legacy.
