Navratna CPSE National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) successfully organized the All India Vendor Meet 2025 on Wednesday at the Nalco Research & Technology Centre (NRTC), Gothapatana, Bhubaneswar. Themed ‘Growth in Togetherness,’ the event served as a crucial platform for fostering collaboration between NALCO and its valued vendors, strengthening the supply chain ecosystem, and facilitating knowledge-sharing on procurement policies and best practices.
Brijendra Pratap Singh, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), NALCO, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was further enriched by the presence of distinguished guests, including Sadashiv Samantaray, Director (Commercial), and Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Director (Production), NALCO. Adding to the significance of the meet, Manish Bhatia, Director of the Public Procurement Division (Ministry of Finance), also participated in the event alongside senior officials from Public Procurement Division, MSME, RXIL, GeM, and NALCO.
The Vendor Meet aimed to bring together suppliers of raw materials, spares, consumables, and other essential items for NALCO, facilitating constructive engagement with officials from the Public Procurement Division, MSME, GeM, and NALCO. The event featured presentations and interactive sessions focused on key topics such as procurement policy regulations, advancements in the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) procurement process, MSME facilitation, and Trade Receivables Discounting System (TReDS). These discussions provided valuable insights into enhancing transparency, efficiency, and ease of doing business within the procurement ecosystem.
The vendor community highly appreciated NALCO’s proactive approach in organizing such an interactive event. The meet not only reinforced NALCO’s commitment to fostering a strong vendor base but also emphasized the company’s dedication to promoting inclusive and sustainable growth through collaborative partnerships.
