Union Bank of India has launched a nationwide Mega MSME Outreach Campaign, a week-long initiative aimed at empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by providing seamless access to financial products, fostering entrepreneurship, and promoting financial inclusion.
The campaign was formally inaugurated in Bengaluru by A. Manimekhalai, Managing Director & CEO, Union Bank of India, who reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to strengthening the MSME sector through financial support, digital solutions, and awareness initiatives.
“Union Bank of India remains steadfast in its commitment to financial inclusion and holistic support for MSMEs. Through this nationwide campaign, we aim to provide seamless access to financial products that are backed by technology and government initiatives, ensuring the growth and sustainability of MSMEs. Our comprehensive product suite is designed to enhance the customer experience in availing credit, and we continue to foster an enabling ecosystem that strengthens India’s MSME sector, contributing to the broader vision of Viksit Bharat,” said Manimekhalai.
As part of this outreach, the Bank is showcasing its entrepreneur-friendly MSME products, including MSME Superfast, which offers quick and hassle-free credit access; Yuvashakti, a product designed to support young entrepreneurs; and Union Nari Shakti, which aims to empower women entrepreneurs. Additionally, Union Bank of India is actively promoting government-backed financial schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), PM Vishwakarma, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), ensuring wider financial inclusion for small businesses.
The initiative has witnessed enthusiastic participation from entrepreneurs, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and local businesses across the country. Reinforcing its commitment to economic growth, the Bank distributed on-the-spot sanction letters to eligible borrowers, enabling immediate access to financial assistance.
The MSME Outreach Campaign is being conducted across 157 locations nationwide, where Union Bank of India is also facilitating the opening of retail CASA deposit accounts, further strengthening its customer base while driving financial inclusion.
Through this large-scale initiative, Union Bank of India reaffirms its dedication to uplifting small businesses, facilitating access to credit, and creating awareness about financial solutions tailored for MSMEs. By bridging the gap between entrepreneurs and financial services, the Bank continues to play a pivotal role in enhancing India’s MSME ecosystem and contributing to the nation’s inclusive economic development.
