This recognition makes Waaree Energies the first Indian solar PV manufacturer to receive this distinction, placing it among the top 5% of companies worldwide for exemplary environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. With a remarkable 97th percentile ranking, this achievement underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to sustainable business operations and responsible corporate citizenship.
The EcoVadis certification is widely regarded as a benchmark for sustainability, assessing companies across multiple parameters such as environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Beyond industry accolades, this achievement enhances Waaree Energies’ global reputation, strengthens its eligibility for ESG-conscious partnerships, and unlocks new market opportunities. Additionally, it enables risk mitigation by identifying potential ESG vulnerabilities across operations and supply chains while promoting sustainable resource management, waste reduction, and long-term cost efficiencies.
