Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. (ABFRL) has been recognized as India’s most sustainable retail company, securing the top rank in the Indian retail sector in the prestigious S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). Demonstrating its leadership in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, ABFRL achieved an impressive score of 82, placing it in the 99th percentile among global peers and earning a coveted spot in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025.
ABFRL’s recognition extends beyond national borders, as it secured the fourth rank globally in the overall retail category, making it a frontrunner in sustainable fashion. The Sustainability Yearbook evaluates companies based on their corporate sustainability performance, selecting only 780 out of 7,690 assessed companies across 62 industries — further cementing ABFRL’s industry leadership.
