Acer expands TravelLite series with 15.6-inch model under ‘Make in India’ initiative

Acer, a leading name in the PC industry, has introduced the first 39.6cm (15.6-inch) model in its TravelLite business laptop series, the TL15-53M. Built under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, this new addition is designed for professionals seeking high performance, security, and portability.

The TravelLite TL15-53M features a sleek metal body, an ultra-slim design, and a 180-degree hinge for versatility. Powered by Intel Core™ processors, it supports up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB SSD storage, ensuring seamless performance for demanding users. The series is available in both DDR4 and DDR5 platforms, with 13th Gen Refresh Intel Core processor options, including Core 3 100U, Core 5 120U, and Core 7 150U.

Designed to withstand rugged use, the laptop is MIL-STD 810H certified, ensuring durability in challenging environments. Weighing just 1.58 kg, it balances lightweight portability with robust reliability. Security features include a privacy camera shutter, discrete TPM 2.0, a Kensington lock slot, and an optional fingerprint reader on the touchpad. The addition of an inbuilt Copilot button enhances productivity for professionals on the go.

The high-performance features of the TravelLite TL15-53M include Intel® Iris Xe and Intel UHD Graphics, FHD IPS panels, and an FHD web camera. Storage speeds are up to 4X faster with Gen4 NVMe SSDs. The laptop offers extensive connectivity options, including three USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.0, and an audio combo jack.
