The Gopalpur Port on Sunday inaugurated a safe drinking water ATM project in Takiria Brahmapur village under Kanman Gram Panchayat, and a children’s park in Arjeepalli Primary School at Arjeepalli Gram Panchayat under Chatrapur Block in Ganjam district.
The water ATM and the children’s park were inaugurated by Chhatrapur MLA Subash Chandra Behera.
The inaugural function was attended by Gopalpur Port Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director Captain Sandeep Agrawal and Vice President (Human Resources) Ajay Kumar Mishra. Kanman Gram Panchayat Sarapanch S. Chakrapani Reddy, Arjeepalli Gram Panchayat Sarapanch P Balaji, Chatrapur Block Chairperson M Dhananjaya Reddy were also present during inaugural events.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) intervention, Gopalpur Port dedicated a hi-tech Eureka Forbes Aquaguard purified water ATM facility to the villagers of Kanman Panchayat, with an objective to facilitate safe and purified drinking water to the villagers.
The Gopalpur Port, committed to its peripheral development, also developed a Children’s Park in Arjeepalli Primary School with a unique offering of structured and unstructured play facilities. Kids will find it as a perfect avenue for the game of hopping, sliding, balancing, etc. It also offers seamless integration of grass and beautiful flower plants.
