The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), New Delhi and Xavier University, Bhubaneswar signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for academic collaboration, through virtual mode today.
Speaking on the occasion, ICSI President Ashish Garg said that it’s an auspicious day for the ICSI and Xavier University as both the institutes join hands for academic collaboration.
In his address, ICSI Vice President Nagendra D Rao said that the MoU would facilitate a comprehensive partnership in the areas of joint academic research, joint workshops, professional development and faculty development programmes along with sharing of resources and participation in international conferences.
Xavier University, Bhubaneswar Vice Chancellor Fr. Antony R. Uvari said that this initiative would bring out an academic collaboration between the ICSI and Xavier University and come closer between the two premier Institutes for sharing and publishing qualitative research work, sharing knowledge, create values for the students and faculties. He thanked ICSI for taking this initiative for signing MoU with Xavier University.
Prof. E.A Augustine, Registrar, Prof. P Mohanty, Dean, Xavier University, and Priyadarshi Nayak, Chairman, EIRC, ICSI and Prabhat Kumar Nayak, Chairman, Bhubaneswar Chapter of ICSI also spoke on the occasion.
A large number of students, members of ICSI, and students and faculties from Xavier University attended the MoU signing ceremony.
