The annual function of the Milan Club at the premises of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited in Rajgangpur was celebrated with fanfare on Sunday.
Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd. [DBCL] Senior Executive Director and National Manufacturing Head Ganesh Jirkuntwar graced the annual day celebration function as the chief guest.
DBCL Executive Director & Rajgangpur Unit Head Chetan Shrivastav, Dalmia-OCL Refractories Ltd. Plant Head Birendra Prasad, Deputy Plant Head K. Selvamuthukumar, Sangam Mahila Mandal President Preeti Jirkuntwar, and its members Saroj Srivastava, Barnali Prasad and Indu Selva were guests of honour of the evening.
Milan Club President Tapan Kumar Bhatacharya introduced the guests and gave the welcome address, while Cultural Secretary S P Guin presented the annual report of the Club outlined the Club’s major achievements.
Jirkuntwar congratulated all the members of the Club, the employees of the company and their family members on the occasion and lauded the efforts made by the members of the Club.
On the occasion, DCBL’s senior most employee Birabar Nayak, and Dalmia-OCL Refractories’ Gundicha Pradhan were felicitated by the guests.
The winners of the essay and drawing competitions for children, and rangoli and mehndi competitions held for women earlier this month, were also awarded during the Club’s annual function today.
Colourful cultural programmes marked the celebration of the annual function of the Club. The function was organised by the Employees’s club while employees of DCBL Rajgangpur Unit’s Administrative, Estate, Security, Fire, Cement & Refractories departments contributed to the grand success of the colourful extravaganza.
