MCL to provide skill training to over 1000 youths in Odisha

Under its CSR initiative, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is set to provide skill based training to 1040 youths of its operational areas in Odisha.

In this regard, MCL signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Bhubaneswar in presence of MCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director OP Singh, Director (Personnel) Keshav Rao, Chief Vigilance Officer PK Patel, Director (Technical/ P&P) JK Borah and other senior officers.

Under this initiative, skill development training in Machine Operator trades will be provided to the selected youths at the cost of Rs.10 crore.

Youth from the operational areas of MCL will be benefited with this scheme, the company said in a statement.
