3F Oil Palm partners with Karnataka Horticulture Department to empower farmers with sustainable cultivation practices

Hyderabad, November 1, 2024 (TBB Bureau): 3F Oil Palm Pvt Ltd has further expanded its footprint in Karnataka by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Karnataka Department of Horticulture to promote sustainable agriculture and support local farming communities. The MoU, signed in the presence of Mr. Prakash M. Sabarad, Additional Director of Horticulture, Government of Karnataka, aims to provide significant benefits to oil palm cultivators in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, and the Sedam taluk of Gulbarga district.

Through this partnership, 3F Oil Palm Pvt Ltd will offer farmers access to advanced agricultural technologies, training programs, and essential resources to boost productivity, benefiting Karnataka’s horticultural sector. The company plans to implement state-of-the-art cultivation practices, with a focus on sustainable growth and community empowerment.

Commenting on the partnership, Srinivasarao Kilari, Head of Agriculture at 3F Oil Palm Pvt Ltd, said, “This MoU marks a major milestone in our mission to uplift local farming communities and establish new standards in sustainable oil palm cultivation. As part of the initiative, 3F Oil Palm Pvt Ltd will lead efforts in area expansion, nursery development, sprout procurement, and seedling cultivation in the designated zones.
