Dhamra, December 30, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Adani Dhamra Port marked the successful completion of the second phase of its Star Safety Award Programme, showcasing its unwavering dedication to workplace safety and excellence. The event brought together 30 representatives from diverse departments and contractual agencies, reflecting the port’s inclusive approach to fostering a culture of safety.
The programme followed a meticulous phased selection process, narrowing the pool of participants from 30 to 13 finalists, culminating in the recognition of three exceptional individuals. Sanjeeb Patra, S.K. Lijimuddin, and Sanatan Sahu received certificates and gifts for their outstanding contributions to safety practices. In addition, 10 participants were felicitated for their notable efforts in upholding the port’s safety standards.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of key dignitaries, including Community Security Officer Nilesh Jha, APSEZ Chief Safety Officer Pankaj Singhal, and Port Operating Officer Sanjeeb Gupta, underscoring the significance of the event. Jagabandhu Behera, the Port Chief Safety Officer, coordinated the programme, ensuring a seamless flow of proceedings.
