Bhubaneswar, August 1, 2024 (TBB Bureau): In a move that promises to bolster connectivity and enhance travel options, Air India Express has announced the commencement of daily direct flights between Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad, effective August 1, 2024. This new service marks a significant expansion in the airline’s network, further solidifying its presence in the Indian aviation sector.
The new flights, which were scheduled to start on July 16, 2024, will operate daily with the following timings:
From Hyderabad to Bhubaneswar: Departure at 05:55 AM, Arrival at 07:20 AM
From Bhubaneswar to Hyderabad: Departure at 08:20 AM, Arrival at 09:45 AM
With the addition of these flights, Air India Express now offers direct connectivity from Bhubaneswar to seven key destinations: Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune. Additionally, travellers from Bhubaneswar can benefit from 26 one-stop itineraries connecting to various locations including Amritsar, Abu Dhabi, Ayodhya, Dammam, Goa, Imphal, Kochi, Kuwait, Pune, and Singapore, among others.
Hyderabad, in turn, expands its direct connections through Air India Express to 17 domestic destinations including Amritsar, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Goa, Guwahati, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Surat, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, Vijayawada, and Vishakhapatnam. The city is also linked to international destinations such as Dammam, Jeddah, and Riyadh. Furthermore, passengers from Hyderabad can access 20 additional one-stop destinations including Abu Dhabi, Agartala, Ayodhya, Bahrain, Delhi, Dubai, Gwalior, Imphal, Indore, Kozhikode, Kuwait, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Muscat, Pune, Ranchi, Ras Al Khaimah, Salalah, Sharjah, and Singapore.
