Rajgangpur, August 18, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Dalmia Vidya Mandir Rajgangpur, an educational institution under the CSR initiative of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, marked Raksha Bandhan with a distinctive blend of traditional celebration and social responsibility. The event, held ahead of Shravan Purnima or Rakhi Purnima, focused on fostering a sense of unity while promoting a crucial anti-drug awareness message among the youth.
The school’s vibrant celebration featured a rakhi-making competition where students showcased their creativity, followed by the traditional tying of rakhis, symbolizing the bond between brothers and sisters. This was not just a festivity but a platform to deliver a powerful message against drug addiction. Students actively participated in spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, demonstrating their commitment to addressing this critical issue.
School Principal Jaydev Kar, along with teachers and students, provided guidance and encouragement to the participants. Kar emphasized the importance of fulfilling social responsibilities and lauded the students for their enthusiastic involvement in the anti-drug campaign.
