MUMBAI, JUNE 20, 2024 (TBB BUREAU): Bank of Baroda (BoB) has announced the signing of Sumit Nagal, one of India’s top emerging tennis players, as its brand endorser. The move underscores the bank’s commitment to nurturing talented Indian sportspersons striving for global success.
At 26 years old, Sumit Nagal has surged to a career-high singles ranking of World No. 71 as of June 17, 2024, securing a spot in the Indian contingent for the Paris Olympics. His recent achievement includes becoming the first Indian player in 35 years to defeat a seeded player in a Grand Slam men’s singles match at the Australian Open 2024.
