Hyderabad, July 18, 2024 (TBB Bureau): byteXL India, a rapidly growing edtech platform focused on revolutionizing engineering education, has successfully secured $5.9 million in Series A funding. Led by Kalaari Capital as the primary investor, with additional support from the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, this investment underscores byteXL’s commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable tech skills to engineering students in tier II and tier III cities across India. It also highlights the company’s substantial growth over the past four years.
The newly raised capital will primarily support team expansion, product development, the introduction of advanced digital tools and technologies, and expanding outreach to more colleges and universities nationwide.
Since its inception, byteXL has partnered with over 26 colleges and universities throughout India, training over 100,000 students in various software technologies such as programming, cybersecurity, full stack development, and cloud technologies. These initiatives have significantly boosted placement rates and increased student enrollment at partner institutions. Recently, byteXL collaborated with Microsoft to launch a new B.Tech CSE course in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, designed to meet current industry demands.
