Capri Loans Car Platform Private Limited (CLCPPL), a subsidiary of Capri Global Capital Limited, has joined forces with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to enhance skill development and boost employability among young professionals. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, equipping students with practical expertise in financial services.

Under this initiative, students enrolled in IGNOU’s Distance Learning Graduation Program will receive structured training, reskilling, and upskilling opportunities. CLCPPL will roll out a six-month internship program, initially onboarding 30 interns across Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, and Nagpur. A mid-program evaluation at the three-month mark may lead to an expansion of the initiative to other locations.

“At Capri Loans, we believe in empowering the next generation with the right skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving job market. This partnership with CII reflects our commitment to fostering skill development and financial inclusion. By equipping students with industry-relevant training, we are not only shaping their professional futures but also strengthening the ecosystem of skilled talent in India,” said Amit Setia, Whole-Time Director, CLCPPL.

CII will develop a specialized six-month training module aligned with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and approved by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET). This module will focus on car loan processes and provide industry-recognized certifications. CII will facilitate online training, supply study materials, and oversee evaluations, ensuring a holistic professional learning experience.

CLCPPL will offer stipends to interns and reimburse their IGNOU registration fees in two installments. Upon successful completion of the program, candidates will be assessed for full-time employment opportunities based on their performance and available roles.

By actively aligning course content with industry standards, CLCPPL and CII aim to create a steady pipeline of skilled professionals. This initiative strengthens the employability of young graduates and prepares them for real-world career opportunities in the financial services sector, contributing to a more skilled and job-ready workforce in India.
