Dalmia Bharat Foundation honours young achievers with Prativa Samman Award 2024

The Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the CSR arm of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd (DCBL), hosted the prestigious “Prativa Samman Award 2024”, recognizing 15 high school toppers from villages near the Dalmia Cement – Kapilas Cement Works (KCW) plant. This annual initiative celebrates outstanding achievements not only in academics but also in sports, arts, and social service, inspiring young talent to excel across diverse fields.

This year’s ceremony highlighted the Foundation’s emphasis on gender equity, with 10 of the 15 awardees being girls. Each recipient was honored with a trophy, a certificate, and a cash prize of Rs 2,500, presented by Pankaj Gupta, Unit Head of DCBL-KCW.

Addressing the gathering, Gupta stated, “Education is the cornerstone of progress. Through the Prativa Samman Award, we celebrate the achievements, resilience, and commitment of these young individuals. Their journeys are truly inspiring, and we are proud to support them as they work toward a brighter future. Heartiest congratulations to all the awardees.”

The ‘Prativa Samman Award’ stands as a symbol of DBF’s unwavering dedication to youth empowerment and community development. Over the years, the initiative has recognized and celebrated hundreds of young achievers, reinforcing the Foundation’s mission to foster holistic development in the regions it serves.

In previous editions, luminaries such as Omkarnath Mohanty, former Vice Chancellor of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), have graced the event, adding to its prestige. The award continues to underscore DBF’s commitment to sustainable growth and its belief in the transformative power of education and empowerment.
