Dalmia Vidya Mandir Rajgangpur celebrates 78th Independence Day with enthusiasm and patriotism

Rajgangpur, August 16, 2024 (TBB Bureau): The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at Dalmia Vidya Mandir (DVM), Rajgangpur on Thursday. The event, which brought together students, teachers, and dignitaries, was a vibrant display of unity and cultural diversity.

The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, a symbolic act that was followed by a spirited parade. The occasion was graced by the presence of several esteemed guests, including National Mahila Mandal President Priti Jirkuntwar, Deputy Executive Director of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL) and Unit HR Head-Rajgangpur, Dr. Niladri Bhushan Parhi, Security Head Subrat Patnaik, and Finance Head Prakash Agarwal.

The students of Dalmia Vidya Mandir captivated the audience with a series of colorful cultural performances that showcased the rich heritage of India. Traditional dances representing various states across the country were performed, highlighting the unity in diversity that India is known for.

In a special segment of the program, students who excelled in the 10th and 12th board exams were honoured by DCBL for their academic achievements. This recognition not only celebrated their hard work and dedication but also served as an inspiration to their peers.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries emphasized the importance of fulfilling one’s duties towards the nation. Jaydev Kar, Principal of DVM Rajgangpur, called upon the young generation to contribute constructively to the country’s economic and social prosperity. His words resonated deeply with the audience, particularly the students, who are the future torchbearers of the nation.

Dr. Rosetta Williams, CEO of Dalmia Vidya Mandir, extended her heartfelt Independence Day wishes to everyone present. She underscored the significance of the day and encouraged the students to embody the values of freedom, responsibility, and service to the nation.
