Dhamra, November 29, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Dhamra Port Company Limited (DPCL) achieved a remarkable milestone on Thursday, setting a new record in rake handling by successfully managing 35 rakes in a single day. This feat surpassed the previous record of 34 rakes, set on January 16, 2024, and reaffirms the port’s commitment to operational excellence.
The record-breaking operations included 21 loaded rakes, one BCN rake, and 13 unloading/release rakes, reflecting the port’s robust infrastructure and seamless coordination among its teams. This achievement was made possible through the concerted efforts of the Engineering, Port Railway, and Operations teams, whose flawless synchronization and dedication played a pivotal role.
