In a momentous achievement, The Dhamra Port Company Limited has been awarded the prestigious PAR EXCELLENCE award at the National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC 2024), organized by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI). The convention, held from December 27 to 30, 2024, at ABV-IIITM College, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, brought together industries from across the nation under the theme ‘Investigating in People, Building a Better Future.’
This annual event served as a platform for showcasing innovative quality concepts and best practices aimed at enhancing quality, process efficiency, safety, and operational excellence. The Dhamra Port Company’s participation was highlighted by the exemplary performance of five Quality Circle teams from the Material Handling Section of the Engineering Department. These teams presented detailed case studies focusing on quality improvement initiatives and best practices within their section.
On December 28, 2024, these case studies captured the attention of the convention’s attendees and judges, leading to the recognition of all five teams with the highest PAR EXCELLENCE award. This accolade underscores Dhamra Port’s commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in quality management.
