This initiative marks a significant advancement in expedited shipping, catering to the evolving needs of Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands and the booming e-commerce sector.
With a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction, Ecom Express has launched accelerated delivery services in key cities such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Patna, Guwahati, and Pune.
The Same Day Delivery service features a pick-up cut-off time of up to 12 PM in metros and major cities, providing customers with the flexibility to place orders conveniently while still benefiting from swift deliveries within the same city.
Ajay Chitkara, CEO & Managing Director of Ecom Express, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “In today’s fast-paced environment, our priority is to empower customers with seamless and expedited delivery experiences. The introduction of Same Day Delivery services is not just a logistical milestone but also underscores our commitment to creating a more accessible and convenient e-commerce landscape for our customers.”
In response to the increasing demand for faster deliveries, where 60-70% of online customers are willing to pay a premium, Ecom Express aims to strengthen its position as a trusted logistics partner in India. The introduction of the SDD service, designed for products stored across a network of micro-fulfilment centers, enhances efficiency for retail brands and enables them to fulfil shipments on the same day.
With investments in technology and infrastructure, Ecom Express remains at the forefront of the logistics industry, contributing to the success of e-commerce businesses and enhancing the overall customer experience. The company recently launched its AI-enabled address correction platform, bulls.ai, leveraging insights from over 2 billion parcels delivered to date.
