In a significant boost to Odisha’s industrial landscape, MAS Holdings, South Asia’s largest apparel manufacturer, laid the foundation stone for its ambitious apparel park at Bhuinpur in Khordha district of Odisha on Sunday. The groundbreaking ceremony, a key milestone in MAS Holdings’ expansion strategy, was attended by senior officials from the Odisha Government, the Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO), and the Industrial Promotion & Investment Corporation of Orissa Limited (IPICOL), alongside top executives from MAS Holdings.
This strategic investment underscores the Odisha Government’s continued efforts to attract global players and drive industrial growth, particularly in the textile and apparel sectors. MAS Holdings envisions transforming the Bhuinpur site into a fully integrated apparel park, replicating its successful model in Sri Lanka. The facility aims to attract key players in the apparel industry, fostering an efficient and cost-effective supply chain that will enhance competitiveness for global brands. Sustainability and ethical manufacturing will be central to the park’s operations, further cementing MAS Holdings’ reputation as a global leader in responsible apparel production.
