The 14th Annual Techno-Science-Management-Cultural-Literary-Skills Festival, Gajajyoti 2025, kicked off with a spectacular start on March 5 at Centurion University’s Bhubaneswar campus. The three-day event, which concluded on March 7, seamlessly blended innovation, entertainment, and skill development, offering an immersive experience for students, faculty, alumni, and visitors alike.
The festival’s opening day featured the much-anticipated Open Day & Mega Centurion Expo, where attendees had the opportunity to explore the university’s technological advancements and global collaborations. The event provided a platform for students, faculty, and staff to showcase Centurion University’s cutting-edge research, hands-on learning approaches, and commitment to bridging academics with industry exposure. Visitors were treated to firsthand insights into the university’s dynamic ecosystem, reinforcing its reputation as a hub of innovation and excellence.
One of the highlights of the inaugural ceremony was the vibrant Social, Technical & Cultural Procession, which illuminated the diverse talent, creativity, and spirit of the university community. This colorful procession set an energetic tone for the festival, reflecting the values of collaboration and cultural diversity that define Centurion University.
The celebrations were further enhanced by the Food Fest, which brought together a tantalizing array of culinary delights, celebrating both regional and international flavors. The Open Mic session, which saw enthusiastic participation from students and faculty, added an extra layer of creativity to the event, encouraging individuals to share their talents and ideas in an open, welcoming space.
Dr. Supriya Pattanayak, Vice-Chancellor of Centurion University, Odisha, shared her excitement for the event, saying, “Gajajyoti is more than just a festival; it is a celebration of creativity, knowledge, and collaboration. As the festival drew to a close, participants reflected on the exhilarating lineup of over 100 competitions, 50+ events, and 25+ attractions. The evenings of March 6 and 7 featured a series of captivating performances, including over 50 live shows, filled with music, dance, and cultural exhibitions that kept the audience enthralled.
The successful culmination of Gajajyoti 2025 highlighted the importance of active participation from alumni, students, faculty, and staff, marking the festival as a grand celebration of knowledge, creativity, and entertainment.
