Chennai, November 5, 2024 (TBB Bureau): In a milestone development for the agricultural sector, Garuda Aerospace, one of India’s premier drone manufacturers, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CYOL (Pvt) Ltd., Sri Lanka’s advanced agricultural technology leader, to revolutionize farming practices across Australia, Africa, and Asia. The MoU was formalized at CYOL’s headquarters in Colombo, Sri Lanka, marking a new era in precision farming and sustainable agricultural innovation.
The MoU was signed by Chamitha Ranneththi, Chairman and Director of CYOL, along with Sanjeewa Dissanayake, S. Mahendran, and Vincent Renold, Directors of Garuda Aerospace Ceylon Pvt. Ltd. This strategic alliance not only strengthens Garuda’s foothold in South Asia with its Sri Lankan launch but also broadens its reach into diverse international markets. Garuda Aerospace, known for its expertise in agricultural drones, surveillance, and defense systems, will join forces with CYOL’s advanced software capabilities to deliver cutting-edge solutions to farmers worldwide.
