Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) on Tuesday announced the appointment of Gayatri Vasudeva Yadav as its new Group Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives in the office of the chairman. The appointment was announced by Isha Ambani, Director on the Board of Reliance and daughter of Chairman Mukesh Ambani.
Yadav joins Reliance from Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia India and Southeast Asia) and brings with her a wealth of experience in marketing and brand strategy. In her new role, she will work closely with the Chairman, Reliance Foundation Chairperson, and the executive leadership team, including Isha Ambani and her siblings, Akash and Anant Ambani, both of whom are also directors on the board of Reliance.
“In her new role as Group Chief Marketing Officer & EVP Strategic Initiatives, Chairman’s Office at Reliance, Gayatri will work closely with our Chairman, Reliance Foundation chairperson, Akash, Anant, the entire EC, and me to drive innovation, enhance brand impact, and deepen customer centricity culture,” Isha Ambani stated in the announcement.
She further expressed confidence that Yadav’s leadership and strategic insights would bring fresh perspectives, inspire teams, and contribute significantly to the company’s growth and success.
The appointment underscores Reliance’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team with seasoned professionals to further enhance its brand presence and customer engagement initiatives.
