GKEL gets Five-Star rating in British Safety Council’s Occupational Health & Safety Audit

Dhenkanal, August 18, 2024 (TBB Bureau):  GMR Kamalanga Energy Limited (GKEL), a subsidiary of GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd (GPUIL), has been awarded a prestigious Five-Star rating in Occupational Health and Safety by the British Safety Council.

This prestigious rating highlights GKEL’s steadfast commitment to upholding the highest standards in health and safety management. The Five-Star rating was granted following an extensive audit that assessed over fifty aspects of GKEL’s occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and practices. This recognition underscores the company’s leadership and dedication to best practices in the field.

Mike Robinson, CEO of the British Safety Council, commended GKEL’s remarkable achievement, stating, “Receiving a five-star rating from our occupational best practice Health and Safety Audit is a tremendous accomplishment.
