New Delhi, December 1, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), a prominent name in the premium car segment, has reported total sales of 10,726 units for November 2024. This figure includes 5,005 units sold domestically and 5,721 units exported, marking a significant performance milestone for the brand.
Commenting on the sales performance, Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales at Honda Cars India Ltd., stated, “Our sales performance in November was in line with our plan. As we approach the launch of the All-New 3rd Generation Amaze in a few days, production of the new model will ramp up from December. There is a lot of excitement among customers for the new Amaze, highlighting a strong market connection for the brand. On the other hand, our exports have been growing, backed by strong demand for Elevate in export markets.”
Comparatively, the company had recorded domestic sales of 8,730 units and exports of 3,161 units in November 2023. This year’s results reflect a significant rise in export figures, underscoring the global demand for Honda’s models like the Elevate.
The anticipation surrounding the launch of the 3rd Generation Amaze adds further momentum to HCIL’s growth story. With enhanced production and robust demand, the brand is poised for an even stronger close to the year.
