Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), a leading aerospace and defense company, has inaugurated AeroSpace Services India (ASI), its Indian subsidiary in New Delhi. The establishment of ASI underscores IAI’s robust collaboration with the Indian government’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’- MAKE IN INDIA initiative, showcasing its dedication to the enduring partnership with DRDO in advancing sophisticated systems for the Indian armed forces.
ASI conducts transactions in Indian Rupees and serves as the exclusive authorized OEM’s Technical Representative for the entire Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missile (MRSAM) system. MRSAM stands as a cutting-edge air and missile defense platform offering comprehensive protection against diverse aerial threats, actively deployed across the Indian army, air force, and navy. This system comprises advanced phased array radar, command and control infrastructure, mobile launchers, and interceptors equipped with state-of-the-art RF seeker technology, jointly developed by IAI and DRDO specifically for Indian defense forces.
