Puri/Bhubaneswar, November 28, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Jindal Panther Cement, renowned for its innovation and quality, has made a dynamic entry into the cement industry with a spectacular launch event in Puri. This milestone coincides with the operational commencement of the advanced Angul Cement Plant, a facility designed to revolutionize construction in East India by integrating cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices.
The Angul Plant begins its journey with an impressive production capacity of 1.5 MTPA, which is set to expand to 3 MTPA by 2026. Together with the existing 1 MTPA Raigarh Plant, Jindal Panther Cement now boasts a combined capacity of 2.5 MTPA. Strategically located, the Angul Plant aims to address the rising demand for high-quality cement across Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, and neighboring states, driving infrastructure development in the region.
In line with its commitment to offering diverse and premium products, Jindal Panther Cement introduced three flagship variants during the launch. These include Jindal Panther Concrete Ultima (PSC Cement), which provides high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and secure tamper-proof packaging; Jindal Panther Shield (PSC), celebrated for its superior finish, resistance to chloride and sulphate attacks, and enhanced durability; and Jindal Panther Shield (CC Cement), an eco-friendly option known for its premium finish and unmatched durability.
Rohit Vohra, CEO of Jindal Panther Cement, emphasized the significance of the Angul Cement Plant as a transformative milestone for the company. He highlighted the plant’s blend of advanced technology and eco-conscious practices, which enable the production of superior, sustainable, and high-performance cement products. “This initiative reflects our commitment to setting new standards in quality and durability, empowering India’s construction sector and supporting sustainable infrastructure growth,” Vohra said.
