Sambalpur, September 30, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 100 million tonnes of coal production for the financial year 2024-25. The company reached this milestone on Sunday, 18 days ahead of schedule, registering an impressive 13 per cent growth compared to the same period last fiscal year.
This early achievement highlights MCL’s commitment to contributing to India’s energy security, demonstrating its ability to meet growing energy demands efficiently and sustainably.
MCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Uday Anant Kaole, commended the team’s efforts, stating: “Surpassing the 100 million-tonne production mark is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and team spirit of MCL.
