Motiprakash Rath joins Kalyani Steels as Vice President (Corporate Affairs) to drive strategic growth

BHUBANESWAR, JULY 9, 2024 (TBB BUREAU): Kalyani Steels Limited (KSL) has announced the appointment of Motiprakash Rath as Vice President – Corporate Affairs.

Rath brings over three decades of extensive experience in Corporate Affairs, Corporate Communication, CSR, R&R, Land Acquisition, and Strategic Communication, making him a seasoned leader. His previous roles at IMFA and Adani Enterprise demonstrated his expertise in handling critical issues in corporate governance and stakeholder relations.

Kalyani Steels expects Rath’s leadership to drive operational excellence and strategic growth. His appointment underscores the company’s commitment to timely implementation of its greenfield project, while ensuring socio-economic development of stakeholders.

With Rath at the helm, Kalyani Steels aims to achieve new milestones in project execution and stakeholder satisfaction, leveraging his expertise in CSR and R&R activities.

Commenting on his new assignment, Rath said, “I am thrilled to take up this challenge and play a pivotal role in completing this prestigious project within record time, contributing to Atmanirbhar Bharat. My focus will be on adding value and promoting all-round socio-economic development of stakeholders.”

Recognizing the growth potential of the Indian steel sector and allied industries, Kalyani Steels Ltd. has signed an MoU with the Odisha Government to set up a 0.7 MTPA Integrated Advanced Specialty Steel & Automotive Components Manufacturing Complex. The company also plans to establish an Integrated Titanium Metal/Alloy and Aerospace & Defence Components Manufacturing Plant with a capacity of 10,000 TPA in the first phase, involving an investment of Rs. 11,750 crore at Gajamara in Dhenkanal.
