Bongaigaon, August 15, 2024 (TBB Bureau): NTPC Bongaigaon, in collaboration with the CISF family, marked the 78th Independence Day on Thursday with a spirited cycle rally organized by the Sports Council, NTPC Bongaigaon. The event aimed to emphasize the significance of a healthy lifestyle while fostering patriotism.
Over 90 participants, including children from the township, NTPC employees, and CISF jawans, took part. Wearing tri-color caps, the cyclists showcased unity in diversity as they pedaled through the township and main plant area, promoting national pride and physical well-being.
The rally was flagged off by Debabrata Kar, GM (O&M), NTPC Bongaigaon, with distinguished guests including Asutosh Biswas, GM (Operation); Sangeeta Singh, President, Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club; GM Thangzom; and Onkar Nath, AGM (HR), NTPC Bongaigaon, along with Heads of Departments and union and association representatives.
