NTPC Bongaigaon reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to water conservation by commemorating World Water Day on its premises on Friday. In a vibrant display of solidarity, employees and their families participated in a spirited walkathon, dedicated to raising awareness about the critical importance of preserving water resources.
The event, spearheaded by the Environmental Management Group (EMG) and the Ash Utilization Department, received honorable guests including KC Muraleedharan, CGM (O&M), and A Biswas, GM (Operation), alongside department heads. MS Kandari, Assistant Commandant of CISF, emphasized the organization’s steadfast dedication to environmental sustainability.
During the ceremony, Muraleedharan administered a solemn Water Day pledge, underscoring the collective responsibility towards water conservation. His call to action urged individuals to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives, ensuring the judicious use of this precious resource.
