Bongaigaon, May 20, 2024 (TBB Bureau): In adherence to the nationwide Swachhata Pakhwada initiative, spanning from May 16th to May 31st, 2024, NTPC Bongaigaon on Monday conducted a Swachhata Talk at Salakati ME School, engaging 100 enthusiastic students. The event aimed to imbibe the significance of cleanliness and hygiene among young minds, fostering a healthier future for India.
Dr. Kriti Agrawal, Paediatrician at NTPC Bongaigaon, spearheaded the interactive session. She underscored the importance of hand hygiene and elucidated on the detrimental effects and diseases arising from unclean environments. “Swachhata is not merely a concept; it is an everyday necessity for a healthy life,” Dr. Agrawal emphasized, encouraging students to integrate cleanliness into their daily routines.
The session encompassed practical advice on upholding personal hygiene standards and the pivotal role of a clean environment. Dr. Agrawal’s engaging delivery facilitated students’ comprehension of their vital contribution to fostering a clean and healthy India.
